Abstract
Urbanization is phenomena that occur in almost all village area in Indonesia include area province south kalimantan. Data Central Bureau of Statistic City Banjarmasin during the period three year from 2013 year until 2015 year show increase total population from 656.778 become 675.440 people. This other factor are increase people in urbanization flows village in city. Research method used a qualitative approach with a variant of phenomenology. Data collection techniques used a thick description while data analysis a used interactive model with four grooves that is data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion continuously until saturated. Conclusion shows urbanization occurs in the village around border area capital city south kalimantan is seasonally. Farmers are doing urbanization when the waiting season before entering planting season. The waiting season mention farmers go to city a nearest for searching informal work, such as grass cleaner in front yard of the house and clothes washer. This job are doing every day from morning until afternoon. Seasonal urbanization are doing in order to fill the free time at once earn revenue towards fulfillment household needs farmers.
