Abstract
The rapid development of aquaculture cages of the Riam Kanan river cause problems such as increased mortality. Degradation of water quality is a major cause of high mortality of fish farming for exceeding the carrying capacity of organic waste waters due to residual feed and fish feces. The aim of research was focused on evaluating the activities of the dynamics of water quality and flow rate as a basis for formulating fisheries management model based on the carrying capacity of the cages aquaculture. Of the 10 water quality parameters were analyzed, Ammonia, DO, BOD5 and COD are water quality parameters that are in conditions that are less feasible to support fish life. The critical values for four parameters that tend to occur in August and September. This condition occurs due to a drastic decrease in flow rates in these months.
