Abstract
Banjarese is also known by its trade. Even Dayaknese called Banjarese “trade people”. The success of Banjarese trader, beside the geografhy factor which lied in coastal area also related to the value and ethics that developed in Banjarese. This paper tried to make further analysis about many things related to the development and trade style of Banjarese. Firstly, it explained about many value relation or cultural ethics especially religion with the development of economy in a society. Then it also explained about the long history of the development of economy especially the dynamics of Banjarese trade which had built the economic style of Banjarese. Last, the writer tried to “read”many values and ethics that also supported the success of economy of Banjarese trade.
