Abstract

The use of learning approaches tend to make passive students in the learning process, can make students feel bored so not interested anymore to follow the lesson. In the process of teaching and learning in schools, approaches or teacher teaming model used is one of the external factors that can influence student motivation and lack of student learning outcomes. Therefore we need a model of cooperative approach TGT. This research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in two cycles. The research setting SON Sungal -flung 4 Banjarbaru V graders totaling 20 people composed. This is seen by teachers in the first cycle with a score of 40 (62.5%) were categorized as good enough to increase on the second cycle with a score of 57 (89%) were categorized as excellent. Activities of students in activities in group activities also increased which in the first cycle, with yields of 12 (60%) were categorized as good enough to increase in the second cycle to be very active with the acquisition score 17.5 (85%). classical completeness learning outcomes first cycle to 55% and increased in the second cycle to 90%. Based on the findings in this study suggested the teachers to use the model of TGT in an attempt to create improvement and increased student understanding, increase student activity and the quality and the quality of learning in primary schools respectively.
